Oh Poo!!!

Today was an ok day for Emma. No real changes on the breathing front. She had a poop today with blood in it which is very concerning to the Doc- they put a hold on her feedings for tonight, got an xray of her stomach which looked ok- the big concern is a type of bad bacteria in her gut. So they increased her IV nutrition for the night to make up for the no milk thing. Otherwise she is doing well, nothing new to report. Thanks to all for your prayers, comments and concerns!!! I love to read what everyone says to us and really appreciate the encouraging words!!!

Hi Lil Emma Nichole, What an adventure you have had so far! Just wanted to let you and your parents know that I am thinking about and praying for you. Psalm 18:32 "It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect"

We are certainly learning what it means to pray without ceasing. How wonderful that so many are praying for and rooting for Little Miss Emma Nichole.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of Him. 1 John 5:14-15

Thank You, Lord!!!

Hi there! I wanted to share something with you. I recently found my life verse - I've been trying to find one since this summer. Its interesting because I was thinking about Emma when I found it. Literally, I was looking for a verse of hope and strength and I found it. Amazing that Emma is making an impact on my life, and others I'm sure, and she hasn't left the hospital yet. I wanted to share it with you - here it is Romans 5: 1-5.
